Developing the capacity to understand and manage feelings and deal effectively with others, no matter how great the differences, is a critical competence in today’s diverse workplace. Emotional Intelligence and Diversity (EID) is an intentional, conscious process that enables you to gain understanding and mastery over your emotions. In this one-day training you will develop the following EID competencies: Affirmative Introspection, Intercultural Literacy, Social Architecting, and Self-Governance. Training will include experiential activities to enhance the learning for all participants. This experience will improve your intercultural competence, increase your empathy, and provide you with strategies to enhance your interactions with diverse groups of students and colleagues.
