Research has shown that textbook costs are a significant barrier to student academic success. Open Educational Resources (OER) offers a cost-saving solution to address the issue of access and student equity.
In this workshop, participants will learn -
- What OER is
- Why you want to use OER
- How OER compares with traditional textbooks in quality
- How to locate high quality OER
Participants will also have hands-on experience in exploring tools to locate OER in their disciplines.
