Session 1: (10:45 AM - 12:00 PM) Equity Research and Data: Join us for the first in a Student Equity themed thread of sessions that with take you on journey through the past, present, and future of student equity here at Mt. SAC. This session will provide an overview of student equity at Mt. SAC. Learn about equity metrics, our equity populations, and how our college is doing in regards to closing the equity gap.
Lunch Break (please register for lunch)
Session 2: (1:00 - 2:15 PM) Students Are the Heart of Student Equity: This session will provide a snapshot into currently funded student equity projects on campus. Project coordinators and students will share their experiences and insights. See student equity in action during this session.
Session 3: (2:30 - 4:30 PM) U are Part of the Sol-U-tion: This session ties the past and the present together to provide time and space to create a plan for the future. How can we create a vibrant, equity-centered, college climate? Brainstorm ideas for the classroom or your work with students that will help make an impact and lower the equity gap.
