Topics covered will be communicating student learning outcomes, developing syllabus modules and discussion board rubrics. I will mention the importance of divergent assessment techniques to maintain academic honesty for on-line assignments. I plan to review strategies for free textbook resources and reflection journals for students. At the end of the presentation, I will also show how successful Project Based Learning (PBL) was developed in Canvas during a 16 week semester.
Technical skills needed for this workshop are beginner level.
